I shot this with a Nikon D700 at ISO200 at 1/80th of a sec @ <b>f51</b>! I used a 105mm macro lens to capture the interesting glass colors. A pair of 750's lit the charm evenly. I'm very excited to get more practice with these wonderful lenses.Michael Hugheshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09320566198261738939noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3830889559994875123.post-62057689652264223322011-01-20T12:39:00.000-08:002011-01-20T12:39:19.959-08:00Ode to the Snow Days... and Nights.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2mVmKT5GpfQEJPL7qqgZ15Ul8GMO1QeYqAzlUvdIVK65ix3GA9iOC8-guAFi6lZZodn2eMl5e5yUeHfey_DkIhpSPrUtBpdfbODl5XB6Bwxlvb-6v5xzoreAHDHWIwRc3wAakuTxBFjY/s1600/SnowyNitePano2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="92" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2mVmKT5GpfQEJPL7qqgZ15Ul8GMO1QeYqAzlUvdIVK65ix3GA9iOC8-guAFi6lZZodn2eMl5e5yUeHfey_DkIhpSPrUtBpdfbODl5XB6Bwxlvb-6v5xzoreAHDHWIwRc3wAakuTxBFjY/s320/SnowyNitePano2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>My good friend came into town during one of the snow storms so I had to shoot a mini-pano during his cigarette break. The process involves pressing live plants onto printing paper with glass. You then leave it in the direct sun until the plants turn brown.
