Ode to the Snow Days... and Nights.

My good friend came into town during one of the snow storms so I had to shoot a mini-pano during his cigarette break.  I was able to catch the freaky green fluorescent lights behind my neighbor's house across the street.  The print measures 40in. x 11in.  Shot with a Nikon D700, for 30sec @ f16, ISO 200: 4 total shots.

The Panorama is Finally Done!

After some travelling and shooting I finally got the shots I needed for my panorama.  Here is a 360 degree view from the outer tip of Hanging Rock.  I had to set up on the rock surrounded on three sides by serious drops with gusting winds making it interesting.  The sun made it tricky but it all worked out in the end.  Shot with a Nikon D700 at 1/25 @ f20, ISO 200.  The 17-35mm 1:2.8 lens kept it nice and clear.

Preparing for Panorama!

While preparing to shoot a panorama I couldn't resist this depth of field shot.  I used a Nikon D700 to shoot this at 1/160 @ f6.3, ISO 200.  The finished panorama is coming soon!
