The Wonders of Lumen Printing

In our Process Monitoring class for Biocommunications we made Lumen Prints.  The process involves pressing live plants onto printing paper with glass.  You then leave it in the direct sun until the plants turn brown.  After that you scan your paper and process the colors through Photoshop.  This is my first one I tried and I like the possibilities you can achieve.

Preparing for Panorama!

While preparing to shoot a panorama I couldn't resist this depth of field shot.  I used a Nikon D700 to shoot this at 1/160 @ f6.3, ISO 200.  The finished panorama is coming soon!

My Bio-Com portrait assignment with Torii Rogers

We had to illustrate the five styles of portrait lighting today.  Torii was a great model to work with.
I shot this with a Nikon D700 at 1/125 @ f2.8 at ISO 200.

Six-Shooter Bacon
