Do Carnies' Sleep?

Between my internships I had the privilege of staying at Tybee Island for some R&R.  While on the prowl late one night I spyed the back lot of a carnival.  I had to take a shot.  A 15 sec. exposure at f20, ISO 1600 made the flags on top of The Ring of Fire flutter forever.

Here's to the Lovers!

It's just Red Day to me, but Happy Valentine's Day to all the sweethearts out there.  Even though I was tired the other night, I had to take advantage of the awesome fog out.  On my way home I stopped and shot this with a Nikon D700 at f4.5 with a 30 second exposure, ISO 200.  My trusty MiniMag and passing cars provided the script!

Ode to the Snow Days... and Nights.

My good friend came into town during one of the snow storms so I had to shoot a mini-pano during his cigarette break.  I was able to catch the freaky green fluorescent lights behind my neighbor's house across the street.  The print measures 40in. x 11in.  Shot with a Nikon D700, for 30sec @ f16, ISO 200: 4 total shots.
